New York Giants offensive guard Chris Snee is expected to retire as soon as today, according to the New York Daily News.
The four-time Pro Bowl selection is scheduled to meet with team officials Monday morning.
Snee has played in the NFL for 10 seasons.
Snee is still dealing with the effects of an elbow injury that required surgery last November.
Snee hasn't been able to practice.
A second-round draft pick from Boston College in 2004, Snee is Giants coach Tom Coughlin's son-in-law.
Snee had hip surgery following the 2012 season and last year.
He played three games last season before being placed on injured reserve.
