The New York Giants signed third-round defensive tackle Jay Bromley and former Green Bay Packers linebacker Terrell Manning.

Bromley is a former Syracuse standout.

The 6-foot-4, 307-pounder has 121 career tackles, 25.5 tackles for losses and 13 sacks.

He had 10 sacks last season as a team captain.

Manning has played in six games for his career, five with the Packers in 2012 and one with the San Diego Chargers last season.

The North Carolina State product was a fifth-round draft choice of the Packers in 2012, the 163rd overall selection. As a rookie, he was slowed by a digestive illness in training camp and head and shoulder injuries during the regular season.

San Diego signed Manning to a reserve/future contract in January and waived him in April. He was awarded the next day to the Minnesota Vikings, who cut him. The Giants worked him out and signed him today.

Manning was a two-year starter in college and had 207 tackles, 10.5 sacks and five interceptions.
