Class of 2013 recruit Alex Anzalone, who rescinded his commitment to Ohio State less than two weeks after telling head coach Urban Meyer and his staff that he planned to become a Buckeye, could be on the verge of decommitting from Notre Dame.

According to Mike Farrell, the Recruiting Analyst at Rivals.com, the linebacker enjoyed visiting Gainesville and seeing Florida beat LSU a few weeks ago, and Farrell writes that he is "very confident" that the Pennsylvania native will flip his pledge to the Gators.

The 6-3, 220-pounder from Wyomissing High School (Wyomissing, PA), who is one of the top 50 overall players in the country, remains committed to Notre Dame as of now. However, keep in mind that he decommitted from the Buckeyes after an unofficial visit to Florida. So there's no question that UF has made quite the impression.

The rumor coming out of the most recent visit, according to Farrell, was that Anzalone had filled out enrollment paperwork already for the Gators. And keep in mind that he cancelled his official visit to Notre Dame for the BYU game this past weekend.

Anzalone's father attended Florida, so that works in head coach Will Muschamp's favor as well.
