The Detroit Lions have signed veteran tight end and fullback Dorin Dickerson and cut wide receiver Patrick Edwards.

Dickerson was auditioned Monday along with tight ends Kyle Adams and Daniel Fells.

Edwards caught five passes for 46 yards this season and was sideline two games with a sprained ankle.

He had no catches Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Dickerson caught nine passes last season for the Buffalo Bills. He played collegiately at Pitt and is a former Houston Texans seventh-round draft pick.
