Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is digging in for a potential holdout. He wants an increase in pay.
It's a similar gambit to what Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles just did successfully. It's unclear if the Seahawks will cave into Lynch's demands, though.
Lynch is due $5.5 million this year and $7.5 million next year.
Lynch can be fined $30,000 per day.
The Seahawks have rewarded cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas, but haven't altered Lynch's deal.
