Oregon defensive tackle Isaac Remington has been suspended indefinitely.
Head coach Chip Kelly said the senior, who is tied for third on the team in tackles for loss with four, will not see the field pending clarification of an incident that occurred Friday morning in Eugene.
Reports indicate that Remington was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence at 12:30 a.m. near campus.
The Ducks are off this weekend and will travel to Tempe next week to play Arizona State in a Thursday night showdown with the Sun Devils.
The 6-4, 300-pounder, who has a sack and a pair of quarterback hurries, could be replaced in the lineup by junior Jared Ebert, who had a tackle and a quarterback hurry in his lone game against Arkansas State this year, or true freshman Arik Armstead, who was Kelly's top recruit this past February.
