The Oakland Raiders have signed second-round quarterback Derek Carr.

"I feel great," Carr said. "I’m excited. I’m excited that this part of it is over and now we can just get to work and focus on winning games and getting better every day."

Carr was selected 36th overall out of Fresno State.

He passed for 12,842 yards, 113 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.

He was named Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year twice and was a two-time All-American.

Last season, he passed for 5,082 yards and 50 touchdowns.
