The Baltimore Ravens fears from Sunday were confirmed on Monday when Coach John Harbaugh announced that both linebacker Ray Lewis and cornerback Lardarius Webb would be out for the remainder of the season.

Lewis tore his triceps muscle in Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys, while Webb suffered a torn ACL in the game.

The short-term question for the Ravens will be how to fill in for two key starters on a defense that has helped spark Baltimore to a 5-1 record, making them one of the frontrunners in the AFC.

The long-term question here, of course, is whether Lewis, the face of the Ravens franchise since it moved from Cleveland in the mid 1990s, has played the last play of his future Hall of Fame career or not.
