The New Orleans Saints recently worked out six players, including veteran receiver Mike Thomas, according to a league source.

Thomas has five years of NFL experience since coming out of the University of Arizona.

His best season was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2010, when he had 66 catches for 820 yards and four touchdowns.

The Saints also tried out offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders, linebacker Alex Albright, defensive back Derrius Brooks, wide receiver Charles Hawkins and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe.
