Kansas City Chiefs veteran free agent inside linebacker Akeem Jordan is visiting the Washington Redskins today, according to a league source.

He has previously visited the Tennessee Titans.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder is considered to be a nice fit for 3-4 schemes, but could also fit into a 4-3 defense.

Jordan, 28, played last season under a one-year contract, recording 67 tackles and two forced fumbles in 10 starts.

For his career, the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and James Madison standout has 329 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and four forced fumbles.
