Dan Williams: No. 55, DT, 6-3, 327

Williams showcases an improved pad level and overall flexibility off the snap and does a much better job getting off the ball and into blocks more quickly. He exhibits good power as a bull-rusher and has the power to overwhelm opposing linemen on contact. He does a nice job keeping his base down through the play and showcases an impressive slap to disengage from blocks. He uses his hands well and looks violent and powerful as a pass rusher. Williams showcases a good motor inside and works hard fighting his way through blocks.

But his power doesn't consistently translate in the run game, and he has a tendency to get too high on contact and too often allows opposing linemen to get under his pad level. He struggles to hold up vs. the double-team and is easily sealed from the ball. He needs to do a better job sitting into his base and keeping his pad level down. He has improved greatly from his junior year and has an intriguing physical skill set. He still could stand to lose more weight to increase his stamina, but with some good coaching, he could develop into a player.

Grade: 6.6
