Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't have a great first outing with the Texans, completing six of 14 passes for 55 yards and two interceptions.

While he's still the starter in Houston, technically speaking, it appears all options are on the table. According to ESPN.com, quarterback Case Keenum was given some first-team reps during Thursday's practice.

This could mean different things, and not necessarily that Keenum is gaining ground on the competition. It could serve as a way to put Fitzpatrick on notice that he still has to earn the right to be the undisputed starter. And with Keenum having some NFL starting experience, it would make more sense to give him some first-team reps over rookie Tom Savage.

One thing is clear, though. If Fitzpatrick falters, it will be tough for the Texans to not address the quarterback position early in next year's draft.
