Erik Walden faces a jury trial beginning Feb. 16 on a charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic dispute with his girlfriend last month in Lawrence, Wis.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports there will be a pretrial hearing with Judge William Atkinson on Feb. 13.
Walden, the Green Bay Packers’ outside linebacker, was arrested following a dispute with his 24-year-old girlfriend on Nov. 25. She had a cut on her forehead and injure thumb. The woman has changed her story for authorities and now maintains Walden was acting in self-defense. Originally, Walden was charged with a felony.
If convicted, Walden faces up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
