After being unable to land a commitment from either Jacob Park or David Cornwell, who have elected to attend Georgia and Alabama, respectively, Virginia Tech finally received a verbal pledge from a Class of 2014 quarterback.
Frank Beamer and the Hokies landed a commitment from Andrew Ford of Cedar Cliff High School (Camp Hill, PA) on Sunday. The pro-style signal-caller threw for 2,957 yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior last season.
