The Tennessee Titans are on a five-game winning streak.
Ever since Titans owner Bud Adams ordered coach Jeff Fisher to insert Vince Young at quarterback as the replacement for Kerry Collins, the Titans haven't lost a football game.
And Adams confirmed that it was his decision to play Young to the Tennessean.
"I don't get involved with the coaches," Adams said. "I made this move this time because I see we had lost six in a row and we had 21 of the 22 players that got us the best record in the NFL in 2008. I said, 'It is time to make a change right now.'"
Adams said he has nothing against Collins.
He just wanted to shake things up and had confidence in Young's abilities.
"Not that I was against [Collins], but Vince was ready to go in there and play and he's played like I thought he would play, too,' Adams said.
Meanwhile, Adams said his middle-finger salute days are over after being fined $250,000 for flipping off Buffalo Bills' fans.
"I don't use my fingers any more," he said. "I [went] a little bit crazy."
