Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney registered a key sack in a win over the San Francisco 49ers.
His fourth-quarter sack of Alex Smith helped put the game away.
"We want to be out there making big plays when it counts," Freeney said. "Put it all on our shoulders."
For the eighth consecutive regular-season game in a row, Freeney registered a sack to match Robert Mathis' franchise record.
Freeney defeated double-team blocks throughout the game.
"It was a fight. It was definitely a fight," Freeney said. "This game kind of took on the personality of their head coach."
