A couple of weeks ago, San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman called gritty offensive tackle Jon Runyan the dirtiest player he has ever played against.

Now, they're teammates and Merriman has changed his tune about Runyan.

"As long as he's doing it help us win, I'm good with it," Merriman said. "I'm excited about him coming in, and I put a little highlight reel together for him that he'll enjoy. It's a joke, but I got him pretty good. Ask him about that later."

Runyan has an aggressive, hard-nosed blocking style and a reputation to match.
