According to a paternity test, the late former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair is not the father of a 17-year old girl.

The spokesman for McNair's estate, Lou Taylor of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, told the Tennessean that there's no validity to the claim of a Mississippi woman against the McNair estate.

McNair was murdered by his girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, according to Nashville police.

"Very early on it was apparent there would be additional heirs,' Taylor said in discussing McNair's holdings of roughly $19.6 million. "We took every precaution necessary to be able to provide accurate information for potential claims."

Clover Lee, who's from McNair's hometown of Mount Olive, Miss., said that McNair is the biological father of her daughter. She said that she had a relationship with McNair when they were younger.

"We were friends, and I never tried to harm him," Lee said "We dated in high school, and we kept it a secret. I knew him before he was an NFL player when he didn't have a dime. When he got killed, I had no other choice."
