The Houston Texans terminated the contract of veteran linebacker Jamie Winborn.

With the roster spot created by Winborn's departure, the AFC South franchise promoted defensive end Tim Jamison from the practice squad.

The former University of Michigan player has been up and down on the Texans' active roster this season.
