The Tennessee Titans promoted wide receiver Dominique Edison to the active roster from the practice squad today.

Drafted in the sixth round this spring, Edison has appeared in two games and caught no passes.

He has toiled on the practice squad for the past few weeks.

The Titans needed another receiver because of Justin Gage's back injury.

The Titans cut offensive lineman Fernando Velasco to create a roster spot for Edison

 

 

To make room for Edison, the Titans released offensive lineman Fernando Velasco.

Velasco is eligible to be re-signed to the practice squad.
