It all comes down to this.  It’s Super Bowl weekend and the NFP Fantasy Playoff Challenge will crown a champion after tomorrow’s big game.  The scoreboard is heating up making this week’s selections all the more critical.

On a side note, I’ve been down in Tampa since Monday and the atmosphere is terrific.  The weather, however, is a totally different story.  Living in the Philadelphia area, I was more than excited to head to Alabama last week for the Senior Bowl and some warmer weather.  I can’t say I was happy about covering two practices a day in sub-40 temperatures.

I thought to myself, “No worries, Tampa will more than make up for it.”  As fate would have it, it’s been cold and rainy down here as well.  While the sun is shining today, the temperature isn’t exactly ideal for jumping in the Gulf.

In addition, expect Raymond James Stadium to be a sea of black and gold tomorrow.  I’ve seen a total of five Cardinals fans and two of them told me they aren’t even going to the game.  It’s true what they say-  Pittsburgh fans travel very well (something I was introduced to on a Monday night in 2005 when the Chargers hosted the Steelers.  Being a former San Diego season ticket holder, I wasn’t thrilled to see Qualcomm Stadium overrun by Terrible Towels). 

Getting down to business, here are the rules heading into the final weekend of the NFP Fantasy Playoff Challenge:

1.     Rosters:  we are starting 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE (if your keepers have been eliminated, you CANNOT start a player at that position.

2.     You ARE ALLOWED to start players from the same team this week. 

3.     You MUST have at least one player from each team.

4.     You CAN use players you have already started in a previous week.
