From Jamison Hensley of The Baltimore Sun:

OWINGS MILLS - The Ravens signed tight end L.J. Smith to a one-year, $1.5 million contract Friday.
Smith, who played his previous six years with the Philadelphia Eagles, improves a thin tight end group for the Ravens. The Ravens have Todd Heap, Quinn Sypniewski and Edgar Jones.
The 28-year-old Smith was the best available tight end on the free-agent market. In the past two seasons while dealing with injuries he averaged 29.5 catches and 267 receiving yards. In 2005 and 2006, Smith averaged 55.5 catches and 646.5 receiving yards.

L.J., you would have been fine in EAGLE green, till you joined the ranks of T.O. devoutees.
You developed:
1.hands of purest concrete
2.a love of the trainers room
3.a complete hatred of blocking, your idea of a block was to assume the fetal posistion and hoped the man would trip over you.
Your are better than all these things,L.J.I hope the reunion with Coach Harbough will bring you back.
