Redskins place Adam Carriker, Josh Wilson, Mo Hurt on PUP list

The Washington Redskins placed defensive end Adam Carriker (leg surgery), cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder) and offensive lineman Mo Hurt (knee) on the physically unable to perform list.

Carriker just underwent the procedure, but is expected to return at some point this season.

Meanwhile, the Redskins cut safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland.

Bernstine (5-11, 214) was originally drafted by the Redskins in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

He appeared in the team’s season-opening win against the New Orleans Saints last season before being placed on injured reserve when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.

Holland (6-0, 205) originally signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent two years ago.

After being waived by Tampa Bay on July 26, 2012, Holland signed a reserve-future deal with the Redskins this offseason.
