Reggie Bush forecasts his departure from Big Easy

Reggie Bush sees the writing on the wall.

After the New Orleans Saints traded with the New England Patriots to get into the back of the first round and draft Alabama running back Mark Ingram, Bush predicted his own demise with the franchise.

“It’s been fun New Orleans,” Bush tweeted.

Then, Bush showed class and congratulated the fellow former Heisman Trophy winner.

The Saints have already signed Pierre Thomas to a contract extension and got solid production from rookie Chris Ivory last season. Bush has one year remaining on his contract at more than $11 million and he was going to have to re-work that deal before the Ingram selection to stay. Now, Bush figures he’s out of New Orleans anyway. He might be right.
