Report: Eagles close to deal with Riley Cooper, also expected to keep Maclin

The Philadelphia Eagles are on the verge of a new contract for wide receiver RIley Cooper, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

A multi-year deal will likely be announced soon.

Cooper was heading for free agency.

Cooper caught 47 passes for 835 yards and eight touchdowns last season.

The Eagles are also expected to re-sign free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, possibly a one-year deal.

Maclin is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered in August.
