Report: McNabb headed to Washington

Leave it to the Eagles to trade quarterback Donovan McNabb on the eve of Roy Halladay’s debut in Philadelphia.

The six-time Pro Bowl quarterback is headed to division-rival Washington in exchange for the Redskins second round pick (37th overall) and a third or fourth round pick in 2011, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

There will be plenty to say and write about this in the next few days, so we’ll leave it at that.

Halladay’s going to need a shutout tomorrow to grab the headlines.
