From Megan Manfull of The Houston Chronicle:
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is slowly recovering from a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
Schaub has made progress, but the Texans are unsure if he will be well enough to travel with the team to Indianapolis this weekend. The Texans want to make sure there will be no issues with swelling or anything else if Schaub goes on the flight.
Schaub is slated to probably miss at least three more games.
“I’m hoping he goes with us,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “But he’s obviously made some strides. I don’t think we’re really going to know a lot for another week or two.”
