I just got off of the phone with a league source who informed me that Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress was at the University of Florida yesterday to meet with former Gators wide receiver Percy Harvin.
The Vikings own the 22nd pick in this weekend’s draft. Their second pick comes at No. 54, which many experts believe will be too late to acquire Harvin.
Last season, Harvin caught 40 passes for 644 yards and 7 touchdowns for the National Champion Gators. He also rushed for 659 yards and 10 touchdowns on 70 carries.
