From Pete Dougherty of The Green Bay Press Gazette:

The Green Bay Packers will have a new special-teams coach next year. Whether they’ll also have a new defensive coordinator remains an open question.

Mike Stock, who was the Packers’ special-teams coach the past three years, will retire this offseason, according to an NFL source and confirmed by a press release just sent out by the Packers.McCarthy, though, apparently has not yet made a decision on whether Bob Sanders will be retained as defensive coordinator.
Stock just finished his 18th season as an NFL assistant. Stock’s assistant coach, Shawn Slocum, is one of perhaps numerous candidates to replace Stock.

It wasn't but a couple of weeks ago that Stock was saying he planned on coaching in 2009. "Retired" Bob Sanders plans on coaching next season too. Hmmmmm....
