Texans bring back Elbert Mack

The Houston Texans have re-signed veteran cornerback Elbert Mack.

He had eight special-teams tackles in eight games last season, second-most on the Texans.

Mack has played in 73 games with six career starts in six NFL seasons.

For his career, he has 80 tackles, 17 pass deflections, six interceptions, returning two for touchdowns.

He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for four seasons prior to one-year stints with the New Orleans Saints and Texans.
