Could you offer a little insight as to how those with an All-Pro vote decide what offensive lineman they are going to vote for. Pretty much every other position has statistics that can be used at least to some extent. But, how do you decide what O lineman are most deserving? Thanks

How bout' them Hawks! Congrats on your Penn State honorary captain game visit. I was at the football game this past weekend against Purdue.

If Warner wins his 3rd MVP award and takes the Arizona Cardinals to, say, the NFC Championship game...can you make a case for him to go into Canton?

RE: Warner - To be honest, I never thought highly of Warner until he really started unloading in Arizona. Like most folks, I always chaulked up his success to a combination of a system that fit his strengths and a quality supporting group but dang he is just putting up huge numbers no matter where he goes. I'd think he should be in Canton when that time comes - existing HoFers have done much less than he has.

I think Kurt gets in when it is all said and done...

Well, although I love having half the Giants O-Line on your first team, I thought a word for Rich Seubert was in order, because from talking to people who do evaluate each play by teams, they have him topping out guards for the quality of his play.

Good to see BIGG Davis and Rat on the list. Portis and Jacobs need to switch places. Roddy White over Q. You had to have put Cutler up there just to generate a discussion right? OK, no way he's over Brees. Does Jared Allen drop off if he gets suspended?

I think Peyton Manning will be on that second line by season's end.... He is turning it on.

Paul- I will check and see if I even have any photos laying around... There hasn't been much of a demnad for those things. I might have them in a box somehwere, but I will check.

B Roo- I think he had it made into one of those life-size cut outs.

Understandable to have Andre & Fitz ahead of Boldin right now. Really, there are so many good WRs that you could go a variety of ways. Personally, I just want to give the nod to Boldin because he's leading the league in TDs despite missing a couple games. And I really admire his toughness, the way he came right back from that nasty injury and kept on ticking. He's got heart. Lotta respect. That was one gruesome injury.

I agree with you 100% on Boldin... Guy is tough, and runs the ball like AP when he gets his hands on it.

I don't see how James Harrison isn't the Defensive Player of the Year.

Look, the Steelers D is 1-1-1: first overall, first against the pass, first against the rush. A stat CBS showed in the Steelers/Chargers game indicated the Steelers D is giving up the fewest yds/play of any D since the 1970s.

If you watch their games, you know that 75% of the time, their defense keeps them in the games. In a down year for Roethlisberger and with Parker playing only rarely, the Steelers are 7-3 because of that D, no questions asked.

Harrison is the best player on that defense. He is second in the league in sacks, second on the team in tackles. He rushes the QB, he drops into coverage, he plays the run. He does it all.

How can the argument for Julius Peppers top that, Bowen?

Jonathan- That's just what I think right now... Had Harrison as the winner for the last five weeks or so, but Peppers has been playing good football too...

Sincerely appreciate the response. Can you elaborate on why you think Peppers is better?

Harrison has more tackles, more sacks, and captains the better defense.

I'm sure there is an argument for Peppers in the face of all that, I'd just like to hear it articulated.
