The Player's All-Pro Team

Now that the regular season is behind us, it is time for me to announce my NFL All-Pro team. This is the list I will send to the Pro Football Writer's Association, and yes, I am sure there will be plenty of opinions. Here are my first and second team All-Pros for the 2008 season. Matt Bowen

Can't complain much Matt, but you had to make some tough decisions.

White over Boldin

T Jones over Jacobs

Tuck over Mario Williams

Good list however

Can't see any place some of my Bears would fit in. Maybe Robie Gould.

Why not D'Qwell Jackson on either team at inside LB? What differentiates the others from him? Thanks

Would like to see Cassel in there, but I see your argument with Peyton and Brees.

Joey- I went back and forth on Jackson...but the games I watched he didn't impress me as an all-pro.

Always tough to make an All-Pro List, so I respect the work you've done, and I think it's a solid list. Can you explain some of your reasoning for leaving these guys out, or how close they were? Thanks Matt!

Ryan Clady
Calvin Johnson
Mike Scifres
Quentin Jammer

JT-
Really like Clady, but thought his production dropped off

Calvin Johnson is a stud, but most of his production came in garbage time

Jammer is a good player, but the guys in front of him had better seasons.

Thanks, those are good enough reasons.

Although wasn't Detroit's entire season garbage time?

Matt,
Thanks, fair enough. Maybe another year or two leading the league in tackles will get him some more recognition. I don't think he is anything over impressive to watch either. He is just one of those guys with a nose for the football.

D-Ware should be Defensive Player of the Year
