Vikings cut Greg Childs, Letroy Guion

The Minnesota Vikings have cut wide receiver Greg Childs and defensive tackle Letroy Guion.

Childs has been dealing with knee problems having torn patellar tendons in the past.

A former fourth-round draft pick, Childs got hurt as a rookie after suffering previous injuries at Arkansas.

Guion is a former fifth-round draft pick who started 28 games over the past two seasons.

He carried a $4.3 million salary-cap figure.
