Von Miller denies smoking marijuana

Denver Broncos star outside linebacker Von Miller denied smoking marijuana as he continues to battle a pending four-game suspension for violating the NFL drug policy that he's appealing.

When asked if marijuana is a part of his life, Miller replied: "Absolutely not."

The Pro Bowl pass rusher told reporters that he couldn't talk much about his case due to confidentiality rules.

His appeal is set for next month.

The Denver Post has reported that Miller tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana as a rookie.

"It's tough, but I'm going to be me," said Miller, who's allowed to practice. I'm going to come here every single day with my teammates. We're focused on the task ahead. That's pretty much it."

Did he let his teammates down?

"Everybody has tough moments in their lives," Miller said. "I have great teammates. My teammates have been great for me."
