Arkansas QB Mallett injured, out against Auburn
Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett left the game Saturday against Auburn with an injury later diagnosed as a concussion.
The 6-6, 238-pounder was taken to the locker room after leading the Razorbacks to a touchdown and a 14-10 lead in the first half. The junior signal caller was replaced by sophomore Tyler Wilson.
Razorbacks head coach Bobby Petrino confirmed the injury as a concussion to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.
Mallett, considered one of the top NFL draft prospects, was averaging nearly 350 yards per game through the air.
