BCS standings to be released at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN
The biggest buzz emanating from the Oklahoma and Wisconsin losses is the possibility of an LSU-Alabama rematch in the BCS title game.
While it's well too early to speculate on how the final BCS standings will look, the second round of the rankings will be released Sunday night on ESPN at 8:15 pm ET.
There are now eight unbeatens remaining in the FBS. Of course, Boise State, Houston and Kansas State will have their work cut out for them in trying to impress the voters and ultimately the computers.
Can Oklahoma State run the table? The Cowboys have games remaining against Baylor, Kansas State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma. If they fall to the Sooners, could it open the door for Clemson or Stanford? Or will an SEC team with one loss have the edge?
Way too early, of course, to speculate. But it's college football, and the discussions are endless.
