Bowden says it's not possible to run a completely clean program
Legendary former Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden doesn't have to deal with the pressures of big-time college football any longer.
And he couldn't be any more relieved.
Although he wanted to coach one more season in Tallahassee, Bowden enjoyed an illustrious career leading the Seminoles to national prominence, and he doesn't have to worry about NCAA allegations, violations or sanctions while he enjoys retirement.
With Ohio State's program in hot water, Bowden discussed the Buckeyes' situation this past Thursday with Chuck and Vince on KDUS in Phoenix. During the discussion, he proclaimed that it’s not possible to run a completely clean program because of the numerous NCAA rules. He also talked about the Seminoles coming under NCAA scrutiny, including in 1993, and much more.
