Class of 2012's Devin Fuller is a human highlight reel
With National Signing Day fast approaching, I've been on the recruiting trail and assembling the second edition of the NFP's Top 25 classes.
But thanks to the Twitter feed of SpreadOffense, I was able to discover a rather impressive highlight video last night of a prospect in the Class of 2012. And it's never too early to look ahead, especially when you're dealing with a human highlight reel like Old Tappan High School's Devin Fuller. The 6-foot, 185-pound dual-threat signal-caller, who was the New Jersey Player of the Year in 2010, certainly will be a name to keep an eye on over the next recruiting season.
Boston College and Rutgers have already offered him a scholarship, and he is scheduled to visit UConn later this month for the school's first junior day of the season.
While Fuller also plays defensive back, would you want him to switch to defense after watching these clips?
Here are Fuller's career stats:
2010 (Jr.) Rushing: 2,306 yards and 32 TDs Passing: 1,844 yards and 20 TDs
2009 (So.) Rushing: 469 yards and 6 TDs Passing: 890 yards and 8 TDs
2008 (Fr.) Rushing: 488 yards and 5 TDs Passing: 1,203 yards and 10 TDs
Note: All of his freshman and sophomore rushing stats reflect negative rushing yards for sacks, something that typically is not taken into account.
