Crowell's signing truly gives Georgia its 'Dream Team'
Just call Mark Richt college football's version of Mariano Rivera. Because the guy can seriously close.
The Georgia head coach did some major damage on the recruiting trail during this signing period, and his Class of 2011 was punctuated with the snagging of stud prospect Isaiah Crowell on Wednesday.
ICONGeorgia's Mark Richt has assembled a dynamite 2011 signing class.
Perhaps the best running back in the country, Crowell was the latest big-name recruit to stay in-state and sign with the Bulldogs. He joins tight end Jay Rome and receiver/defensive back Malcolm Mitchell, along with defensive end Ray Drew, as the cornerstones of Georgia’s 2011 class.
Georgia is moving up the rankings of the various recruiting services and could move even higher if Richt could land John Jenkins from Mississippi Gulf Coast College. The nose guard won’t make official his school of choice until Saturday.
Here is the official list of the Bulldogs' signees, as released by the university on Wednesday.
