The dual-threat signal caller injured his left knee this past Saturday in the first quarter against Bowling Green and did not return to the game. Rodriguez said after the contest that Robinson likely could have re-entered the game if he was needed.
The injury was later diagnosed as a bruise, and Rodriguez plans to limit Robinson’s activity on Monday in an effort to have him practice Tuesday.
Robinson ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and was 4 of 4 through the air for 60 yards in Saturday’s 65-21 win.
The Wolverines (4-0) will face the Hoosiers (4-0) in Bloomington Saturday in a matchup of unbeaten teams.
