Five-star OT whittles his list to three schools
Laremy Tunsil, arguably the top offensive tackle prospect in the Class of 2013, has narrowed his list of schools down to three.
Following a visit to Gainesville on Sunday, the 6-6, 295-pound Columbia High School (Lake City, FL) product told Derek Tyson of GatorNation on ESPN.com that Florida, Georgia and Alabama are his three finalists with National Signing Day not until next February. Over the last week he has also visited Athens and Tuscaloosa, so his final three schools aren't exactly surprising.
Tunsil, who has more than a dozen offers, said that it's a "tie right now with all of them." He is unsure of when he will make a final decision.
The tackle said he will greatly take into account each team's playbook when he makes his decision because he wants to maximize his athleticism while blocking on the edge. Georgia's playbook has impressed him the most thus far.
Tunsil was my No. 3 uncommitted prospect on the list I released last week at the NFP.
