Four-star recruit jumps from Notre Dame to Ohio State

Not only has Urban Meyer poached two assistant coaches from Brian Kelly's staff at Notre Dame, but the new Ohio State head coach has snagged a top recruit as well.

According to multiple reports, Class of 2012 offensive lineman Taylor Decker has switched commitments from Notre Dame to Ohio State after taking an official visit to Columbus.

The 6-8, 310-pounder from Vandalia, Ohio, is ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, and his athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect at left tackle.

It's possible that the loss of assistants Ed Warinner and Tim Hinton to Ohio State helped Decker move on from the Irish. Warinner will be his position coach while Hinton was his primary recruiter at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame currently has 16 commitments in its Class of 2012 while Ohio State has 20.
