Nebraska four-star CB commit switches to Arkansas

In yet another move that shows a commitment means little until that signature is made official on National Signing Day, Nebraska cornerback recruit Tevin Mitchel has switched his allegiance, as he now plans to enroll at Arkansas, according to a Rivals.com report.

The 6-0, 170-pound Mitchel, from Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas, is a four-star recruit who is listed as the sixth-best cornerback in the country and 114th best player overall according to Rivals.

The recruiting website also lists him as the No. 1 corner in the state of Texas.

Mitchel had offers from roughly two-dozen schools across the country, including Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. The defensive back made an official visit to Fayetteville last weekend.
