WON 31-6 vs. Florida
The Crimson Tide jumped out to a 24-0 lead behind a little Mark Ingram and a whole lot of defense in a rout of the Gators.

2. Boise State (4-0) [2]
WON 59-0 at New Mexico State
The Broncos had a 38-0 halftime lead en route to their 18th straight win and 15th straight road win.

3. TCU (5-0) [3]
WON 27-0 at Colorado State
Ed Wesley rushed for two touchdowns to help the Horned Frogs earn their seventh consecutive win over the Rams.

Darron ThomasICONDarron Thomas and the Ducks passed their primetime test against Stanford.

4. Oregon (5-0) [6]
WON 52-31 vs. Stanford
After falling behind 21-3, the Ducks rallied behind 355 total yards and four touchdowns from Darron Thomas and a defense that pitched a second-half shutout.

5. Ohio State (5-0) [4]
WON 24-13 at Illinois
The Buckeyes survived a Terrelle Pryor injury scare and an upset scare from the Illini behind the rushing of Dan Herron and solid defense.

6. Nebraska (4-0) [5]
IDLE
The Cornhuskers were off this past week and will travel to Kansas State to take on the Wildcats Thursday night.

7. Oklahoma (5-0) [7]
WON 28-20 vs. Texas
DeMarco Murray rushed for 115 yards and two scores on 25 carries to help the Sooners defeat the Longhorns in the annual Red River Rivalry.

8. Auburn (5-0) [9]
WON 52-3 vs. Louisiana-Monroe
Onterio McCalebb scored just 32 seconds into the game — and it was all Tigers after that in a lopsided win.

9. Arizona (4-0) [12]
IDLE
After a week off, the Wildcats are set to host Oregon State on Saturday.

10. LSU (5-0) [13]
WON 16-14 vs. Tennessee
LSU received a second chance and made the most of it, scoring a touchdown with no time on the clock after the Volunteers had 13 men on the field as the Tigers survived a scare.

11. Utah (4-0) [14]
IDLE
The Utes had a bye week and will prepare for a road tilt against Iowa State this week.

12. Arkansas (3-1) [16]
IDLE
Ryan Mallett and the Razorbacks had the week off to replay the Alabama game in their heads — over and over again. Texas A&M is up next for the Hogs.

13. Iowa (4-1) [17]
WON 24-3 vs. Penn State
Kirk Ferentz continues to have Joe Paterno’s number as the Hawkeyes held the Nittany Lions to just 54 rushing yards.

14. Miami (3-1) [19]
WON 30-21 at Clemson
Miami forced six Clemson turnovers and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson tied a school record with three touchdown receptions to lead the Hurricanes.

15. Michigan State (4-0) [20]
WON 34-24 vs. Wisconsin
Michigan State has started a season 5-0 for the first time since 1999 after Kirk Cousins threw for 269 yards and three scores against the Badgers.

16. Florida (4-1) [8]
LOST 31-6 at Alabama
The Gators were handed the second-most lopsided loss of Urban Meyer’s six-season tenure at Florida.

17. Stanford (4-1) [15]
LOST 52-31 at Oregon
Stanford jumped out to a big lead early, but the nail in the coffin occurred on David Owusu’s fourth-quarter fumble as the Cardinal fell at Autzen Stadium.

18. South Carolina (3-1) [18]
IDLE
After a bye week following their loss at Auburn, the Gamecocks will welcome defending national champion Alabama to Columbia this week.

19. West Virginia (3-1) [21]
IDLE
The Mountaineers were off this past weekend and will host UNLV on Saturday.

20. Michigan (5-0) [22]
WON 42-35 at Indiana
A healthy Denard Robinson became the first player in FBS history to pass for 200 yards and rush for 200 yards in a game twice in the regular season, and the Wolverines survived a shootout with the Hoosiers.

21. Wisconsin (4-1) [11]
LOST 34-24 at Michigan State
John Clay’s 10-game streak of at least 100 yards rushing and at least one rushing touchdown was snapped as the Badgers dropped their Big Ten opener.

22. USC (4-1) [10]
LOST 32-31 vs. Washington
The Trojans fell to Washington on a last-minute field goal for the second straight season as Lane Kiffin suffered his first loss as head coach at USC.

23. Nevada (5-0) [25]
WON 44-26 at UNLV
Vai Taua had 188 rushing yards and four touchdowns (three rushing) to help lead the Wolf Pack past the Rebels.

24. Oklahoma State (4-0) [NR]
WON 38-35 vs. Texas A&M
Oklahoma State rallied from a 14-point deficit and held off an Aggies comeback to win its Big 12 opener last Thursday night.

25. Air Force (4-1) [NR]
WON 14-6 vs. Navy
Air Force notched its first win over the Midshipmen since 2002, and the Falcons snapped Navy's record service academy winning streak at 15 games.
