Ohio St. president says Boise St., TCU not worthy of title shot
What happens if Oregon or Auburn slip up this week in its quest to run the table while Boise State and TCU continue their push toward perfection?
Can we see a non-AQ in the BCS title game?
Well, in that scenario, Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee still doesn’t think the Broncos or Horned Frogs deserve to be in the championship game.
In an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday, the OSU president said that TCU and Boise State do not play a difficult enough schedule to play for a national championship.
Gee, a longtime fan of the BCS who favors the "mixed-up mystery" of the current system, said he was against a playoff in the Football Bowl Subdivision because it was "a slippery slope to professionalism."
So, what are your feelings in the non-AQ argument? If Boise and TCU remain unbeaten, do you agree with Gee? Or do you think the Broncos or Horned Frogs deserve a chance to end this long-running debate?
