Ohio State has Gee to thank for Sugar Bowl win
Ohio State president Dr. E. Gordon Gee was on his "A" game on Monday when he fired up several thousand Buckeyes faithful at an alumni rally ahead of the team's Sugar Bowl clash with Arkansas. OSU Alumni Association president Archie Griffin also spoke at the event, which featured the school's band and Buckeyes cheerleaders, and Gee worked the stage as if at an open mic night.
Gee poked fun of himself for his Little Sisters of the Poor comment that made headlines earlier this season regarding the opponents of TCU and Boise State, yet he managed to crack another joke about the two non-AQ's, saying that a nun from Little Sisters of the Poor had called him.
I don't know about you, but I think Gee's performance gave the Buckeyes some much-needed inspiration going into their victorious meeting with the Razorbacks.
