Ohio State lands four-star Florida defensive end
Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer added two more recruits to his Class of 2013, as the Buckeyes received verbal commitments from Florida defensive end Joey Bosa and North Carolina linebacker/defensive end Lewis Neal.
The commitments were the third and fourth pledges in the last week following the announcements of Pennsylvania linebacker Alex Anzalone on Saturday and Texas quarterback J.T. Barrett last Wednesday.
The 6-5, 260-pound Bosa also had offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Michigan and Wisconsin, among many others.
Meyer has made it a point to build very good depth along the defensive line, an area that has helped many of the SEC powers during the league's current national championship dominance. Bosa joins in-state recruits Tracy Sprinkle and Billy Price as Buckeye defensive line recruits for 2013, and Meyer also cleaned up this past February with defensive linemen Noah Spence, Adolphus Washington and Se'Von Pittman committing to play in Columbus.
The Buckeyes now have 13 oral commitments in their Class for 2013. Eight are on defense and five are on offense.
