Ohio State QB Pryor injured, leaves game against Illinois

Last week it was Denard Robinson and Robert Marve. This week, it is Terrelle Pryor.

Big Ten quarterbacks are dropping like flies.

Pryor, Ohio State's field general and a leading Heisman Trophy contender, left the field early in the third quarter against Illinois Saturday with an apparent leg injury.

The dual-threat signal caller’s knee seemed to buckle on a run, and he subsequently tripped and fell. Pryor went to the sideline before walking to the locker room for further tests.

Joe Bauserman replaced Pryor under center.

More information to follow as it becomes available.

UPDATE: Pryor has returned to the game, and the word from the sideline is that he is dealing with a mild left quad strain.
