Ohio State to hold news conference at 7 p.m. ET
Ohio State will hold a 7 p.m. ET news conference Tuesday evening in Columbus following Monday night's report that head coach Jim Tressel was aware of potential NCAA violations involving star quarterback Terrelle Pryor and others much earlier than he first admitted.
Tressel, school president Gordon Gee and athletic director Gene Smith will be in attendance.
Smith is a busy man these days, as he's the chairman of the NCAA Division I men's basketball committee which oversees the wildly popular NCAA tournament. He came back from meetings in New York to address the controversy involving Tressel, a story that proves once again that college football is a year-round sport.
Has a decision already been made on the future of Tressel, who is 106-22 in 10 years with the Buckeyes?
