Old-school Cena returns to WWE Raw

The Daily Jolt is a section of the National Football Post that serves as a one-stop shop for all things sports, pop culture and everyday life.

The section’s editor, Dave Miller, also writes the College Football Report column for the NFP. When he isn't putting coaches on the hot seat, he can often be found reminiscing about the glory days of the NWA. You can follow him on Twitter at Miller_Dave.

The Daily Jolt section at the NFP has come out of retirement specifically to showcase perhaps the best opening to WWE Monday Night Raw in years, which happened mere hours ago.

With his highly anticipated matchup with The Rock at WrestleMania quickly approaching, John Cena went old-school and brought back Thuganomics in Cleveland, opening the show adorned in his rap attire (complete with a vintage No. 25 Mark Price Cavs jersey) and coming to the ring to the tune of "Basic Thuganomics." The majority of the crowd at the arena was, quite frankly, very impressed.

Cena may be a polarizing WWE star, but the “Doctor of Thuganomics” was a big hit Monday night. He put on quite the show.

In case you missed it, enjoy the rap below.
